Bate Papo en Chopinho, these are words that you will hear alot if you know some Cariocas....Bate papo are informal chats between good friends which do like to get together to drink and have a good time in an open air bar.

Largo do machado is a perfect place in Rio where you can go in the evenings, and stay all night long talking and talking!

Marcio when he was in brazil never missed any cool oportunity, and I miss one of the most wonderful person that I have ever seen!

I am really proud to be his friend!

A genuine party with more than 10000 people, a place where you can taste the weirdiest dishes and also love them, like RABA COM JIRIMUM, like BAIAO DE DOIS, and the famos CARNE DE SOL, they are all delicious food!;) a place where you will see locals everywhere and the real place where real people go to perform their traditions and their music. A place where Forro will shake you and you will not be willing to come back home!

Well, maybe it is an ugly place where you would never go...But you really would never imagine what you would miss..This is one of the most traditional bars of Rio de Janeiro, every day they have a different folk rhythm, and this is the meeting point of many alternative youngster of the city!

People stand in front of Semente drinking beer from the bar jsut to listen to the music and dacing outside!
