Our flight from JFK landed in Frankfurt am Main. From there we took a bus to Düsseldorf. So, my time in Frankfurt was very short.
Frankfurt has one of the best airports I've ever been in, and I've been in a lot! One of the best things is an internal metro that takes you to different parts of the airport...unlike Madrid Barajas where we had to walk around the entire building!
In this picture, my friend Eric is amazed that the taxicabs in Germany are Mercedes!

I flew Singapore when I emigrated, I would agree. We were also given an exra baggage allowance because we were emigrating. Lesley
Hope you enjoyed your (short) visit here in Frankfurt am Main. I once flew Singapore Airlines from here to Vietnam via Singapore, and even though I can't stand flying that was one flight I really enjoyed.
