Restaurant Name: Planet Hollywood
I've eaten here twice now. Great food and great atmosphere, and the waitstaff is fun and very friendly. It's always nice to look around at all the movie memorabilia while waiting to eat. I know a lot of the PH restaurants closed, but this one seems like it is still going strong. There was a good crowd this past time I visted, yet didn't have to wait in line. Excellent location inside the Forum Shop area of Caesars Palace!
Favorite Dish: The blackened mahi mahi was a great dish. It is served on a bed of rice and sprinkled with diced veggies. Although I must say I am also partial to their french fries!!!

Restaurant Name: Spice Market Buffet
Spice Market Buffet was definitely an excellent choice for us. Located inside the Aladdin, this had many different types of cuisine to choose from. Fairly priced, it was worth every penny. We went here for breakfast & they happened to have a champagne brunch for the entire Labor Day weekend. Mimosas came with our meal (or, you can get a plain glass of champagne if you choose). In 2006, Aladdin will be changed into the Planet Hollywood resort & casino. Hopefully, as they are not changing everything, this buffet won't go anywhere!!!
Favorite Dish: We went for breakfast, so I stuck to the breakfast menu. The French toast is to die for! Thick cut bread, wiht a touch of powdered sugar, this was amazing...however the best part was the peach sauce with the peaches to put over the bread. I couldn't resist going back up for more!!! My friend went up for dinner/lunch food after her breakfast helping, and the roast beef practically melted in your mouth! Another strong recommendation--this was located in the American cuisine section. The Labor Day champagne brunch ran us $18.99, however you may want to check the website for regular everyday prices.

Restaurant Name: The Brew Pub
Decent prices, great fare and excellent drinks abound, this is a great place to eat, drink and hang out. Located inside the Monte Carlo hotel, this is the only brewery on the strip. It's also large enough to where you shouldn't have to wait long for a table. Also had a live band playing on Saturday night.
Favorite Dish: I had the fetuccine alfredo with rock shrimp. Excellent dish at an affordable price!!! I'm not a huge fan of alfredo sauce, but this was good, as it wasn't extremely thick and cheesy. It actually had texture to it, and they were generous with the shirmp as well!!

Restaurant Name: Burger Bar
This is definitely a place to check out if you're a hamburger lover! Burger BAr is a place where you create your own burger. You first choos which type of beef you want (i.e. black angus, kobe beef, etc.), then it automatically comes with onion, a side pickle & tomato. The rest is up to you, and you can choose as many veggies and toppings as you wish. Although you are charged for each topping, it's well worth it!!
Favorite Dish: The burgers of course!!!

Restaurant Name: Lucky's
Lucky's is a 24 hour diner located inside the Hard Rock Hotel. This is a great place to go for an inexpensive bite to eat after a long night of dancing, gambling or if you just feel like grabbing some food in the middle of the night!
Favorite Dish: I had a club sandwich, which was to die for! Super stacked, I had to split each section in half in order to take a bite!!! Don't forget to check on their specials!

Restaurant Name: Tropical Breeze
Tropical Breeze was very impressive. We got a great meal for a great price. The atmosphere is very comfortable, the food is good and the prices are right. It’s a popular place but we didn’t have to wait in line all that long. This is located inside the Flamingo and the animal habitat was located directly outside from the restaurant.
Favorite Dish: We had breakfast here. They had several breakfast meals to choose from; we opted for the health smart breakfast consisting of egg substitute, turkey bacon, fruit cup and toast. This ran us each $9.99 and was filling and healthy.

Carnegie Deli: Just like in New York

Restaurant Name: Carnegie Deli
You are lucky if you get a seat inside the Carnegie Deli in the Mirage without waiting at least 30 minutes to an hour. Lucky for us they also have a carry out counter. A bit on the pricey side (you may pay $12 for a sandwich) but the sandwiches are so fresh and they give you so much food that it’s worth every penny.
Favorite Dish: I had the egg salad sandwich on white bread, and I must say this had to be THE freshest bread and egg salad I ever ate. It was also piled high enough to where you can make a serious mess if not careful. The same goes for the tuna sandwich, which my sister had. We carried them out and ate outside on a bench to avoid the crowd. With my sandwich I got 2 cookies (I ordered one, but they come 2 in an order). These cookies had to weigh about 8 ounces apiece, and they were absolutely delicious! They had a few to choose from, I had the chocolate chip macadamia nut. Excellent!!!

Restaurant Name: America
America is located inside NY NY and if I’m not mistaken, they are a 24 hour joint. You can also eat outside at the pool. There is a special section on the pool deck for those ordering food. Beware though, if ordering from the pool, service may be a bit slow as there was only one waitress taking orders. The food was good but also a little pricey.
Favorite Dish: I had the quesadillas, which were outstanding. You get 4 large pieces and they give you a side of salsa and sour cream on your plate.

Restaurant Name: Coco Palms Buffet
Coco Palms buffet is located inside the Stardust. There is plenty of room to sit and with it being at the old end of the strip, we were lucky to not have to stand in line. Buffet was $13.95, a good price compared to some of the newer resorts' places. Food was good, but not a lot of entrees to choose from. Desserts, however, were quite abundant in choice. No longer exists since the Stardust implosion in 2007.
Favorite Dish: The stuffed green pepper and the mashed potatoes & gravy were probably my favorite dishes.
