Puerto Viejo What to Pack: 7 reviews and 3 photos

Humid is the driest word!

Luggage and bags: Travel light.Take plastic bags to carry damp or wet items

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Loose fitting clothing & sandles,a cheap pocket sized poncho(in case it rains),a hat, a bandana to use for sweat

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Sunscreen!!You may need mosqito repellent(we didn't see any mosquitos at all). Lots of sandflies at the beach.

Photo Equipment: A waterproof camera is best if possible. We had tourists say their non waterproof cameras didn't work well in such high humidity.Bring your own 35mm film with you.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: flashlight(&batteries) for night time forays

Miscellaneous: Take facecloths, most hotels only provide towells.
