|  | Plettenberg Bay stretches from Harkerville just outside Knysna through to Nature's Valley . This area includes the towns of Keurbooms with unspoilt beaches and excellent whale watching along the coast, points for whale watching are:

Robberg Peninsula (From town go down Odland Street, over Piesang River Bridge, turn right at the little circle, and then first left into Robberg Road
No 1 Beachy Head Drive As one turns into Beachy Head Drive from Beacon Island Crescent, at the top of the hill, turning sharply left, there is a little parking area from which Central beach can be clearly seen

Beacon Island Rocks
Van Plettenberg Monument Meeding Street (from town, drive Odland Street, turn left into Meeding Street, and then almost immediately right into Hopwood Street. The monument is on your left, overlooking the Old Timber Shed)
Lookout Rocks Directly accessible from the bottom end of Church Street or take a leisurely walk along Central or Hobie beach to the Rocks. (Climbing can be steep –so not recommended for trail or unfit folks) |
