Lies at the foot of the Sleeping Beauty mountain peak - a well-loved small town that never fails to capture the imagination. The town situated on the N2 highway between the Langeberg mountain range and the sea.It is not far from the towns Still Bay and Witsand. Riversdale has an abundance of indigenous flora - Fynbos -

This is a small country town, its a great place to stop for a cuppa coffee if you on Garden Route..or even for a overnight stop, hotels and guest houses you may find a bit cheaper than in some of the bigger towns.The town has banks, restaurants, a post office, auto bank machines, food and veg shops, at times shops where you can buy fresh fish, and fresh fried fish,a chemist, dr, hospital and also a police station.

Albertinia is where the Aloe factories are where you can buy all your Aloe produts at very reasonable prices.
