Zambia is a country in Southern Africa, it has The wonderful Victoria falls near Livingstone, lots wildlife, rich in culture and friendly people.
Some roads in the north especially may not be so good so check it out before driving.
Road from Botswana Zambezi crossing at Kasane to Livingstone was fine and ok for normal car.
Road from Livingstone to Vic falls was also fine.
Livingstone had various restaurants and shops and banks.
They had a Pep stores, shoprite and Ocean basket, and I could use my MTN cellphone in Livingstone, please check my Livingstone page for more details.

Lots of wonderful handcrafts, please buy from markets and not on the streets as this is not allowed.
Visa entry from UK into Zambia was very expensive so check the price ( I think about 140 USD) and if you go out for a day to another country make sure you have multiple entry...or you will pay again.
In june 2008 South Africans did not need a visa into ( Zambia, zimbabwe or Botswana) I just got stamps and went back and forth as I pleased at NO COST, but always check with embassy before leaving.
