"Yangshuo - Arrival point for the Li River cruise" Yangshuo by Willettsworld

Yangshuo is located just south of Guilin and is the finishing point of the Li River Cruise that starts in Guilin. Apart from the famous West street, which is lined with all the "goodies" that any visitor wants such as hotels, hostels, restaurants, cafes, bars and, of course, shops; Yangshuo's places to visit lie outside the town. These include the famous Moon Hill - where a round circle of rock is missing that is shaped like the moon; the stunning Assembled Dragon Caves, Jianshan Temple and the Yulong River Scenic Area - said to be one of the things to do when in China. The best way to explore the scenic area outside Yangshuo is to hire a bike for the day, which is what I did, and I really enjoyed it.

I came to Yangshuo on the Li River Cruise from Guilin and stayed in the town for a couple of nights before taking a bus back to Guilin in order to then take a train to Nanning, the provincial capital of Guangxi.
