"Zhenjiang" Zhenjiang by Willettsworld

Zhenjiang Travel Guide: 24 reviews and 138 photos

Zhenjiang is located on the southern bank of the Yangzi River, 65km downstream from Nanjing and across the river from Yangzhou. Zhenjiang has always been an important transportation hub owing to its location near the intersection of the Yangzi River and the Grand Canal. There's some historical sites dotted around the city such as the Xijin Ancient Street, Jinshan Temple and Beigu Hill plus a good museum housed in the former British consulate, which all make it a worthwhile destination to visit if you're travelling between Suzhou and Yangzhou, like I did.
