Arhangay aimag is situated in the central part of the Khangai mountain range, to the west of Ulaanbaatar, and its territory comprises mountains, steppe and plains. It's home to Ogii Lake which I visited on the 4th day of my 12-day tour around Mongolia. I stayed the night in a tourist ger camp beside the lake surrounded by horses. The lake is very beautiful and still, with no boats on it.
