Harpenden Common

Harpenden is a very well-to-do town of around 30,000 people, just north of St Alban's. It's a very pleasant town that still retains a "village" feel with its tree lined High Street, town greens, period cottages, and Common – 96.39 hectares of open space that supports cricket, football and Golf clubs. All of this adds up to make it one of the most expensive towns to live in outside of London with an average house price of £500,000!
