"The Italian Job" a Italy Travel Page by Willettsworld

I must've been mad but at the same time I must've been inspired. Why? Well I decided to drive round Italy in a 3 week road trip that took me to some of the most beautiful sites that can be seen in the world.

Here's my itinerary:

Day 1: Travelled down from the UK, through France, and stopped overnight in Chambery in the Alps near the Frejus tunnel.
Day 2: Stopped off in Susa - a small attractive mountain town just off the A32 autostrada. Then onto Turin.
Day 3: Second day in Turin.
Day 4: Genoa.
Day 5: Monterosso al Mare and Corniglia in the Cinque Terre region of Liguria. Then onto Pisa.
Day 6: Lucca then onto Florence.
Day 7: Second day in Florence.
Day 8: San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and Siena.
Day 9: Perugia and Assisi.
Day 10: First day in Rome.
Day 11: Second day in Rome.
Day 12: Third day in Rome.
Day 13: Pompeii.
Day 14: Sorrento and the island of Capri.
Day 15: Naples.
Day 16: Ancona.
Day 17: Rimini.
Day 18: San Marino.
Day 19: Bologna.
Day 20: Ferrara and Padova.
Day 21: Venice.
Day 22: Verona and Milan.
Day 23: Milan.
Day 24: Travelled back home to UK.
