Favorite thing: MG Marg is the main road that runs through the middle of the Civil Lines area near the city's main train station. This wide dual-carriageway road is lined with hotels, restaurants, ice cream parlors and bakeries selling western cakes. Basically, all you need whilst staying in Allahabad. The whole Civil Lines area in rather upmarket with nice Raj-era buildings and broad tree lined avenues.
