This is located near St Stephen's Church. You enter on the left-hand side and go through to the "Zodiac Room" where the tables and general ambience is better. Veg, pork, chicken, beef and fish main dishes cost between Rs60-Rs130 for small or large portions. Beer (Rs90) comes chilled from across the road somewhere, wrapped in newspaper and then you have to hide it from view behind a menu! Good food and service.

Quality Restaurant: New, clean and posh

This is a new, posh looking place that's located just down the hill from St Stephen's Church. Main meat dishes cost between Rs90-100, veg dishes Rs50-60. They also do a buffet lunch menu. Service is very good and the food is as well.

At present, Cafe Coffee Day operates over 800 cafes in over 100 cities all over India. The cafe offers more than 10 types of hot coffee, 5 types of cold coffee and also tea for tea lovers. In addition, it also serves smoothie, granites, pizzas, burgers, cakes, sandwiches, pastries and ice creams and even sells souvenir T-shirts, caps and mugs. I came to this branch in Ooty and really enjoyed the relaxed decor and atmosphere which was just so different to other cafes and eating establishments.
