Dirt Cheap Booze One of the things I would miss about Langkawi is the booze, due to the tax free status given to the island to promote tourism, the booze here is dirt cheap. A can of beer cost you less than a bottle of mineral water, and we had beer for breakfaast instead of milk, coffee or tea! (Just kidding) Johnie Walker, Jack Daniels, Chivals are less than half I would normally pay for in KL. Boozed, boozed we did. Then came my "Langkawi stony" joke. Due to the amount of alcohol I've in my bloodstream, I'm not able my control tounge, so there goes my verbal skills. Thus, story was pronounced as stony, toungue was stongue. |
