a bit about me | me at syon house west london |
Originally i am from Manchester, but moved to london with my husband 5 years ago. It was just for a year to do the london thing and then we were going to move somewhere we could afford (London house prices are out of the range of most people). but we are still here and loving it. I am a District Nurse and my husband is training to be a mental health nurse. I try to travel as much as possible but work and money can so what limit us. This has led us to be quite imaginative in places we go, how we get there and where we stay. I love planning trips I can happily spend hours researching places so we don't miss anything although this does not stop me getting lost everywhere we travel to. |

| | London London what can I say, it is great. There is so much diversity in the people and the places. there is always something to do and somewhere to go. from Camden to Greenwich and everywhere inbetween it is a amazing city. .I love the museums, parks, restaurants, bars and clubs .I have made it my new years resolution to explore parts of the city I have not been to yet and building my london page. |
I love my tent I guess it started as a way of saving money on a trip to france, but i have to say I love my tent. As a kid I went camping a lot but jason (my hubby) had never seen the inside of a tent so when i suggested buying a tent for our trip to Dijon he was more than a little bit dubious, but after a few nights under the stars and long evenings in front of the tent with a bottle of the local wine eating badly cooked veggie sausages and discussing the days adventures. He was converted. We now try and take the tent out as much as possiable it is a great way to see the countryside and is much cheaper than hotels and in my experiance people in campsites are really nice. I am going to start adding my favourite campsites to my travel pages. | | | swiss farm camp site Henley (nice campsite) |

| | Prague - My favourite place I first went to prague in 1995 , I was nineteen and had only ever had been on a few package holidays and camping in the UK. I decided I wanted to go somewhere different so i booked a flight bought a travel guide and convinced a friend to come with me. We spent a month in the Czech republic and Poland. It was an amazing trip which changed my views on travel, Europe and myself. Although much has changed in the last 11 years and the prescence of drunk stag do's and hen nights does detract from the charm of the place, Prague still has a special place in my heart and I will always love wandering around the city or sitting in a back street bar in the lesser town sipping a budvar |
My Next Trips I have a few plans for next year I am hoping to go to Switerzland to visit my sister ( she moved out there last month).
Paris I discovered that two of my friends have never been so we will be rectifying that!
My main trip will be to the Balkens I am really excited about seeing Sarajevo, Mostar, Zagreb, Split and much much more
And of course lots of camping trips |
