Gilbert Islands Hotel Tips by Rusket

We arrived without a reservation, and luckily enough all the three cabins were free. We chose the one in the tree :-) We had all our meals there, prepared by a neighbour who gave a helping hand whenever needed. There is a separate kitchen / dining cabin and a bathroom cabin with waterflush toilet and a shower. The hosts Ioanna and Bakaati are happy to help organizing transportation, that is renting a boat or riding bakaati's moped, and they have bikes for rent. Butaritari is a beautiful island with rich vegetation.

Unique Qualities: Tranquility, welcoming and warm people, nice climate, wonderful view of the lagoon.
