"As far north as you can get" Mey by Rusket
Mey Travel Guide: 4 reviews and 34 photos
We had decided to drive as far north as we could on mainland Scotland, and headed towards John O'Groats. But while I was driving, June studied the map, and found this little place called Dunnet Head that seemed to be further north? We decided to investigate. Since we were on an inland route, Dunnet Head was almost on our way, and yes, it IS further north!
It was getting late as we drove along the coast towards John O'Groats admiring the fantastic landscape.
So, when we found this cozy looking hotel in Mey, half way between the two most northern points, we decided to spend the night there.
- Pros:Centrally located between mainland UK's two most northern points :-)

ahaaa found it :o) He was a funny old bat that guy that ran the Castle Arms!
Looks very northern and very windy. The best place for travellers not for tourists.
Hmmm. That sign looks a lot like a gravestone.
