We visited Istanbul in 1981 and 1982. In these years there were tourists but not too much.
We were impressed by this city with all its buildings, different cultures and traffic in the streets and at the water.
The old Galata Bridge was a fine place to be. A very special atmosphere with the shops and little restaurants. |
|  | Hotel Neset We stayed at Hotel Neset, Harikzadeler cad. no 23 in the quarter Beazit. A simple and good hotel, but I think it won't be there anymore now. |
