NOTICE! Weerberg is NOT on VT, that's why I made this page in Weer.
Weerberg is about 3 km from Weer. To reach Weerberg: when you are on highway B171 from Schwaz to Wattens, you have to turn left in a village called Pill.
Weerberd is a perfect place to do long hiking-tours in the mountains in summer. It's not crowded and the landscape is amazing; sometimes very green but on the northside very wild and rocky. One of my favorite hinkingplaces is the route to Nafingsee, a little lake in the mountains near Weerberg. First you pass a little restaurant and a few farmhouses at the Weidenerhütte. On the backgournd you see the wild rocks of the Karwendel mountains. |
