Keszthely, on the western tip of Lake Balaton, can be a relaxing, welcome break from Budapest without being flooded by tourists.
There's not a massive amount to see or do in the town, although prices are cheap, the feeling is quite mellow, and the main strand is a good place to veg out in the sun for a few days. |
