Name of Shop: Cavindish Square
Most of the locals shop at the malls closest to where they live. So, that is where I shop! The one I prefer though, is Century city, which is much larger than Cavindish.Tygervalley Shopping mall, not to be missed, great for the divine cakes situated on nearly every corner of the mall. Then there is the very famous V&A Waterfront. The gifts are varied, arts and crafts galore, but expensive. This is because it is one of Cape Town's most popular tourist attractions, so, if the prices scare you, bear in mind that there are other malls. The Food Hall at Cavindish is great to have a little bite, before or after shopping.
What To Buy: Gifts , gifts and more gifts! There are great cofee shops in this malls. Also restaurants in the mall and also outside. Most pleasant on a warm day.
What To Pay: As much as you want to!!

Name of Shop: Riverside Mall- Rondebosch, Cape Town.
Rondebosch is a haven for varsity students and the locals in the area. It is a small mall, focusing mainly on trade aimed at students. There is a student flight centre, student art gallery and also a few coffee shops. The whole area of Rondebosch is what you may call, 'sudent orientated." A vibrant, trendy and busy area. Often they are seen making local crafts, or selling something or the other. What is most convenient is a little branch of the local Post Office and a Pharmacy. A nice area for the young and not so old to visit.
What To Buy: All you need!
What To Pay: Whatever you wish.
