San Francisco Travel Guide: 9,083 reviews and 19,112 photos
Okay, I admit a day is not long enough to soak up all San Francisco has to offer. But it was enough to realise that a return trip is in order.
My toddler and I had a ball tootling around on cable cars, snapping photos of famous landmarks and sampling food form all corners of the globe. We loved our downtown hotel too, especially it's proximity to a big kiddies' playground & merry-go-round.
The resemblance of the city to Sydney made us feel right at home. The bay setting, the downtown architecture and amenities, even the topography of the suburbs makes it almost a mirror image across the Pacific.

Think you're going to be the resident VT expert on accommodation for young children. Been to S.F. 7 times & every time have thought it's a bit less like Sydney not more. The Bay & our Harbour are very different.
