Evesham

Evesham is a tiny little town in Worcestershire, which I stayed in for nearly a year (2003).
There are only a couple of things to do - not much, but there are. We went rowing on the avon river a couple of times, and found it really amusing - especially on a nice summer day.
At night time you can either visit Innuendo, Blue Maze or PJ's ..... correct me if I have the names wrong, because I haven't been there in a while, and I know they change constantly. This town is absolutely saturated with fellow South Africans, and you can always go have a drink at the Waterside hotel, where they serve real South African drinks such as Castle / Amstel etc.
I enjoyed my stay there, and whenever I got bored I got on the train and went to Worcester / London / Oxford or so, which is relatively close by.
Rent isn't as expensive here as it is in London which is a bonus!
This was a great experience, and I'ld got there again anytime!!!

Pros and Cons

Pros:Great Historical sites, Awesome river and park 4 picnicks
Cons:Very small, and not a lot of shops....
In a nutshell:Great for anyone who loves English Countryside.
