"I love this place I call home" a San Francisco Travel Page by Rassors

I have lived here for some 50 years and still every day I get great joy at the beauty, diversity and acceptance that is so much a part of this city. It is not uncommon for a local to look at something and say , "That's why we pay so much to live here". Yes, the politics can get zany at times but there are also quiet parts to this place. What other city would have debated on the front page of the paper for weeks whether or not to fill one of its steepest hills with snow to have a ski jump?....we did and the jump happened...What a place!

Besides the beauty of this place the locals talk about food, and more food, and more food. Per capita there are the most fabulous restaurants in each neighborhood and we all have an opion as to which one is best. There a web pages dedicated to reviewing resturants and blog upon blog. Once I counted 11 different nationality of restaraunts within a 4 block radius of my office and that was not even differentiating between Cantonese, Mandarin or Hunan. If you are a foodie, this is heaven.
