Ok, so I am partial! Desenzano was the first town we knew and stayed in when we moved to Italy. It is a pretty little town on the edge of Lake Garda with some wonderful places to dine and beautiful views of the lake. Not to mention a great hub to see much of northern Italy. Take your time and relax, enjoy the locals and have a nice bottle of wine! |

mikesundown Mon May 9, 2005 13:42 UTC AGREE! Italian pizza generally sucks. (I catch a lot of crap for making that statement-can't help it if it's true) Linus is the best; take the time to find the one in Lonato. The one in DZ is very good, but not as good as Lonato. It's also take out only. |
