We have made a number of visits to Verona. Being a day trip, it is a nice outing for us.
I was fortunate to see Madame Butterfly in the Arena last summer----what a performance! A memory that will rest in my mind forever!
Juliet's house is another stop, as is the museum on the other side of town. I was suprised to find out the locals believe the story of Romeo and Juliet----I still wonder!
The shopping in Verona is also quite nice being car-free streets!
Don't forget to stop by and enjoy a cool refreshing Gelato! |
