We experience the Moros Festival, name may differ in other parts of spain, but if you wanted you could celebrate this festival all over the country at different times of the year. In Santa Pola it is celebrated in August and the place is a little crazy for that week (ending Aug, Sept). Look up Paco in Bushmills Bar (town) - speaks great English and willing to help.
