Chemnitz wouldn´t be the same without it...it is the emblem of the City.

The name of the City during the times of the GDR was Karl-Marx-Stadt and after the wall came down it got its old name back.

beautiful city, I want to visit ; I noticed that from austria there are still many trains to berlin and dresden that do not cross the czech republic and make a big and long trip around germany through passau and nürnberg
