Naor - operating instructions Hellooooooo you all, welcome to Naoritania! That's me in the picture by the way, only normally I do not hold an umbrela, so I was captured in a very unique and rare moment. I am living in Isreal, but I am not always there mentally due to my nature to day dream from time to time. I love travelling a lot, I guess mainly because it helps keep my sanity, though some people will claim I lost it a while ago. I look at traveling as a way to meet new people and experience new things. I some time regret that I am not able to travel all the time but I assume most of VT members feel the same. I live in a town near Tel Aviv and I spend most of my days in the office working (I'm a lawyer but don't hold it against me). |
| | Do I get a refund? That's not me in the picture by the way, it is a Wombat, I have no idea how did he manage to enter my Homepage...and it seems like he doesn't want to leave. Anyway, I was saying that I live in the center of Israel and working hard. I am lucky enough to have a nice and suportive family and lots of friends that are wiiling to stand up with me, and in that sense I am lucky. I like the outdoors a lot, especially mountains and green pasture, rivers and so on. I do not like sand at all and I try to avoid it, so you won't find me at the beach a lot. I don't like hot weather and I do not like to eat fish, so if I ever get stranded on a lonely island I will probably starve to death and it will happen just a little bit after I will be totally anoyed by the sand and hot weather. |
| | Any side effects? That's me again, though I know it looks a little bit like the wombat from above, but it is definetly me. I traveled quite a lot around the world and my favorite places are New - Zealand, Norway and the west part of Canada. One of my favorite things is to hike and bike but I never get around to do that as much as I want to, so when I travel I do my best to combine those things in my itinerary. I like to snowboard as well, only I fall more than I surf so at the moment I can't really share any enlightning srotries of how to control your board and to do half pipes and so on. I truely want to meet new people even if it is through the net, I find it uplifting to hear different views and aspects on variety of issues. |
| | Where's the expiry date? It is a bit funny that people travel to see places, but what usually stays clear and vivid are the people we meet and not the scenery, isn't that true? In my traveling I came to the conclusion that the best way to experience things in its pure and most natural way is exploring the small places. Staying in the big cities is cool and there is a lot to see in some of them, but for me, the encounter with people in the small places, actually living with those people for a while, is the best way to feel the uniqueness of each place, because after all the big cities today are all affected buy the same perceptions, products and so on. So if you really want to experience the true spirit of the country you travel in, check the small unvisited places, only there the originallity is still kept. |
| | Hmmmmm O.K. that's it, can someone kick all those Ausie animals out of here, they literally overtook my homepage. Does the Kengeroo doing what I think he is doing and why is he doing it in my homepage!!! I would like to finish my homepage with a blessing to those of you who bothered and read the whole thing, so I wish your life will be coloured with all the colours of the rainbow and that you will have not even one dull moment in your life ;-) |
