This is the reason why people come to Varanasi. People come to see how Hindu admire Ganga river. They do every daily activity in this river: taking a shower. pee pee. poo poo. praying. earning money by rolling boat. doing laundry, even dying here.... everything. Varanasi is the best place I met in india. I went to Agra to see Taj Mahael. I went to Jaipur. I went to Delhi... but this is my favorite place, the holy river.

People

All the old labors are cute here. Including the above, who rolling our boat. He spoke like this: ball, ball, me----lly cheeeep, me----lly cheeeep. Their English is not good, but they have high patient to people visiting Varanasi. They might want more money, but they don't cheat visitors. In this picture, I show you our local guide-- cycle rickshow man. He always asked us: good service? do you like here? I show you this way, this way is better... I didn't take his face but just took pic behind him...

Pros:a peaceful place, and most people are friendly
Cons:smoky. Dead bodies are bured as long as the quantities of bodies are enough
