As a city in northern climes, Newstead Montegrade naturally has problems with potholes - but more so than most due to the unusual construction of many of its roads out of compressed corrugated cardboard (one of its leading exports). Spring 2005 has been especially bad - in part because all the sand used by the city DPW is pretty much the same color as the roadways and so you're driving down, oh, the Boulevard of Heros when, blam, there go all four tires and rims. Better to stick to the subway - the Lemon/Lime Line will get you everywhere you need to go.
