    • Taking the vaporetto along the Grand Canal is a must when in venice. We took the #1 vaporetto that travel slow which gave us time to appreciate the view of the city . There are 3 types of tickets you can purchase for the vaporetto, 1st is the 60mins ticket for 5 euro, 2nd is the 24hrs for 10 euro and the 3rd is I cannot remember the pricing.

    Before boarding in the vaporetto, you need to validate your ticket because if a conductor check your ticket and if its not validated, he or she will give you a fine.

    During our stay there nobody check our tickets but just in the safe side.

    • Rialto Bridge is one of my wife's favorite place to shop for souvenirs and just to walk around and see the market. The pricing here is not that expensive in my opinion and the sellers are nice and friendly .

    • Breathtaking is all I can say --- We did'nt have a chance to go inside but seeing the byzantine style basilica was quite an experience. History say that beneath the basilica where the body of St. Mark was buried. The church has no tower but consists of domes and arches. It is so beautiful that I took 20+ shots on my digital camera and thats just all from the outside.
