1st platoon

Golden, Colorado

Here's the new first platoon in Oct 05 at the Coors Brewery, the reason I say new is because when we got back from Iraq we got all new N.C.O's and a new LT, so most of the Joe's are there but not our old leadership
backbreaking work

Nuiqsit - Cross Island 2003

This is the black beauty of the north, and yes that's me up there, I forgot to mention this in my long letter up there at the top of the page, this is the most exciting hunting that i've ever done, now this made my heart pump fast just being next to something so huge in a small boat.....man this is exciting!!! Of course I know there's always people out there that are into this save the whales thing but lemme explain, see yer trying to save the blue whales and stuff, this is a bowhead whale, they are not going extinct, and remember that my forefathers have been doing this for such a long time now, so it's not something we do to *** off the green peace people.
I miss this place so much

Jerusalem

cool city, I hung out there 2001/2002
fly fly away into the sunset, wherever I may roam

Pico Iyer, "Why We Travel"

"We travel, initially, to lose ourselves; and we travel, next, to find ourselves. We travel to open our hearts and eyes and learn more about the world than our newspapers can accommodate. We travel to bring what little we can, in our ignorance and knowledge, to those parts of the globe whose riches are differently dispersed. And we travel, in essence, to become young fools again ---- to slow time down and get taken in, and fall in love once more."
the only place I call home
What you do in life does not define who you are...but what defines you is how is much you rise after you fall...................
