This place was the last stronghold of the Moorish Sultans, the last of whom was finally defeated by Ferdinand & Isabella.
A lovely city, rich in history & cultural diversity.
- Pros:Perfect setting, snow-mountains for skiing or beach
- Cons:Can get quite hot in summer

Great page and tips. We went to Granada but never got to the Palace. we had been pickpocketed in Granada. Went back to Marbella.
I enjoyed your Alhambra pics, I loved my visit here we found the only way to get tickets was to book a guided tour but then we got some detailed explainations which was good - thanks for sharing
