Quite a busy, urban city. Life seems very fast-paces here, with wide roads and highways.
The East coast has some nice areas (Oyster Bay), where you will find houses of ambassadors and some superb Five Star hotels. |
Hakuma matata! A theme repeated all over... meaning 'no problem' in Swahili.
For the locals, life is quite laid-back. You'll see many strolling at really relaxed pace, seeming totally carefree. |
Wooden souvenirs! ...or 'curios', there are some very good markets for these.
You can buy traditional figures, animals carvings, and even some modern art work at such markets.
The traders can be quite forceful/persuasive, so be mindful of that. |
