Those buildings are very strange in fact when compared to the rest of the city buildings.. but people of the time used to see these buildings as a sign of wealth.. more the floors, richer you are... strange hummm?

there are plenty of towers, lakes, river sides and castles close to regensburg area.. One of them is an observation tower in Falkenstein.. Good for hiking..
