Sucre is your opportunity to see "the real deal" in Venezuela, country graced with immense natural beauty despite its inhabitants' attempt to wreck it.
It's not a developed tourist destination at all, yet there is a tiny thread of backpackers, mostly connecting here by land to Camaina and the Sabana Grande.
Anyway, there are excellent beaches, everything is cheaper than the main tourist areas and there is abundant things to see and do for a few days.
- Pros:Beaches, chocolate plantations, cheap accomodations
- Cons:You are on your own as a tourist
