Dear All, Vagamo is one of the most beautiful spots in the world. Maybe not the village "itself", but the surroundings close to it and the stragtegical point for making various trips through the most beautiful country in the world. I have been going to Vagamo for about 20 summers and it never gets boring. Rain or sun, warm or cold. The nature around Vagamo is so beautiful. When it rains, or it is cloudy, it is so mysterious, so wild and when the sun shines, you understand why Norway is becoming more and more popular with tourists ((un)fortunately?)). Anyways, if you go to Norway, try to rent a cabin close to Vagamo and use it as a base. You can make trips close to Sladal, Blaho, Rondane, or further to Geiranger, Jotunheimen, Sognfjell, Nigard, Briksdal. I have written a travel book about these trips and in due course I shall put stuff of this on my Norway pages. Pictures to follow as well.
