"Shrewsbury Town" Shrewsbury by sunburntaussie

Shrewsbury is amazing town that features cobble stone paths, tudor houses and historical monuments from the age when Cromwells forces attempted to remove the British monarchy.

The town itself isn't that big but then there is so much about this place that you could easily miss if you didn't take the time to look around. Things to see include; the old town square (there is a town crier that makes an entrance every now and then), Shrewsbury castle, the cobbled back alleys, Shrewsbury town church and the amazing parks that the town council have created running along side a small branch of the Severn river.

Shrewsbury is right in the heart of the English midlands so theres some great places nearby if you're ever up that way.
