OOOHHHH SWEET MEXICO

by jfreddie - last update: Apr 7, 2005

Early morning on the beach
This trip was all possible by a awesome friend named Carlos Nunez and his family. Carlos is a really cool person that I met in college at Michigan Technological University. Carlos was there for the srping semester for mechanical engineering. Carlos was a funny and great person to be around. He always told us for making his semester memorable that we are all welcome to come to his hosue down in Mexico.

So almost a year and a half after seeing him and keeping in touch the dates were set to go down there.

The time couldnt have worked out better. Carlos just graduated from college and had a month before starting work and I had time off also.
My roomate Scott from college and friend of carlos also came with me as he had winter break.

So December 22, 2004 we arrived in Mazatlan were carlos picked us up. it was about a 3 hr drive to his hometown of Los Mochis.

Carlos, his friends and family gave a trip we would never forget. We had a awesome christmas and new years with them.

I cant forget about the Mariachi Bands, morning and night tacos, hotdogs at 3 am after the discos, baseball game, late night drinking, Our fill of tecate everynight and shrimp at the beach.

what a place and I will be back soon...
