Lynn with the ostrich
Located in the outskirts of Cagayan de Oro, i think this is already near Iligan City. One can buy and enjoy an ostrich egg omelette for php500.

This place has actually a lot of adventures to offer. Aside from the Canopy walk, you can do ziplines also. The skybridge is about 120 meters long and 120 feet high. My friends also tried their zipline or slide of life which i tried in Subic Bay. It's another thrilling adventure for sure!
Seek the Macahambus Cave and Gorge, said to be a a stage of historic battle between local and American soldiers during Philippine-American War in 1900s.
The park opens at 8am. I'm not so sure about the rates but i think it ranges from P300-P1000.

if tired of paddling, swim along the current
My first time and it's here in the Philippines. No need to get out of the country to do this. There are many groups offering White Water Rafting in CDO. We highly recommend Kagay. They are safe and fun to be with :)
Pick your choice of European rafting or Pinoy (tubing) style. It's a 3-hour paddling with 14 rapids. The package costs about P1,200 per person including packed lunch. We took this last July 2006. I sure would have brought more water-proof camera and ziplock bags though they provide one also.

using our butt to slide down and get across
Hmm what can i say? Fun, adventure, the thrill. Be sure to go to this place. During July 2006, it costs only P900 per pax including packed lunch of chicken & pork adobo (yummy!). Aside from the Extra Challenge course (see my travel page on CDO), one can do camping, trekking, horseback riding and zipline.
Hopefully when you go there, it isn't raining because the trail would be very slippery. don't wear shorts but wear something light. forget the sunblock but don't forget Off lotion.
