Karakoram Highway: heart stopped at suspension bridges
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • Pakistan Karakoram Highway
  • suspension bridge - Passu
  • by crescentmoon
  • Send Photo to a Friend
  • There are 2 bridges to do
just take a walk from Passu, down to the left side of KKH
    you'll see the first bridges

    take a deep breath
    and
    enjoy

    :)

p.s. for a short people like me, it was so hard to walk cross the bridge
too short hands - could not reach both of strings
too short legs - could not reach each long steps
but it's worth to do - I love to get back to cross the bridges again and again

nobody but you and your pulse

Things To Do: Turqiuose Satpara Lake
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • About 9 km. south of Skardu
take a short walk from Skardu

you must wonder 9 km. but why do I say -short-
because on thw way to the Lake
many cars or vans or pick-ups would pick you up
so no need to worry about long walking to the turquiose lake
    just head to the lake
    everything would be okay

the officers/workers/engineers are building the big dam at Satpara
so there are so many people/vehicles on the road to Satpara Lake
says the dam would be completed in next 3 years

so..hurry up to go Satpara Lake
    before it has changed
    ...
