"Anniversary in Krimml" a Krimml Travel Page by Anysis

Everything in the town of Krimml (province of Salzburg) seems to be based on tourism, yet it must be a lot busier in the winter than we had it in August. Greg and I came to Krimml to celebrate our first wedding anniversary looking at the highest waterfalls of Europe and had a wonderful time although the weather was crappy.

This is only a fraction of the whole thing!

Once you've climbed the waterfalls (or cheated and took the taxi), you reach the high valley - Krimmler Achental. Even with this cloudy weather it was such a beautiful place! Knowing that the mountains are only average for Austrian standards, it was still really impressive.
