"Halab,Aleppo, the Capital of Islamic Culture" sting658's Profile

A place close to my heart

I spent most of my childhood visiting continously my grandparents house which is very close to the Big Mosque.I remember when I was a kid playing in the courtyard of the mosque ,chasing birds, watching old blind men on chairs reading parts of the holy quran they have saved by heart...

even if you are visiting the place for first time,I trust you'll like the environment

Aleppo's Pride,Aleppo Castle

A unique prove of the creativity and greatness of Arabic Building styles and archetics.
it's a must see when you visit Aleppo.

Through Midnight

The old city of aleppo is great to wander ,walk and talk, I often times (with my friends) hang around go into lanes, dark streets...and we easily spend hours there and each time it's still entertaining for us to still do

Hi, Thanks for responding to my question. Are there many places to study Arabic in Aleppo too? I really want to find somewhere that will focus on spoken Arabic, not written Arabic. Thanks, Tom
