Parnu is considered the summer capital of Estonia.
"the sleepy rhythm of Pärnu changes completely when the flag of the Estonian summer capital starts flying high on the summer equinox – life on the beach, dozens of festivals, night clubs and the big party crowd that have moved here. People say that if you haven’t seen your friends for some time, you will see them all in summer in Pärnu" (www.parnu.ee)
If Tallinn is a must, Parnu is an option. I really recommend to pay a visit if you go summer time and you stay in Estonia 1 week or more. Take the bus from Tallinn and stay one or two nights in the city.
Go for a Saku (beer) or rollerblading near the beach.
I went to Estonia to take part of a work camp in a farm.
The farm is situated in the forest between Sauga and Sindi, just 12km southwest from Parnu.
It was fun to help the family to pick up strawberries, red and black currant, cutting wood for the winter... and above all, having the sauna with a Saku in one hand after the whole day working on the sun.
Sleeping in the barn, above the "alarm cock" (he started his particular simphony avery morning at 3am with the sunrise!)
I still miss those political conversations with Nuria, painting with Gaye-Thais, drinking with Adrien or canoeing with Ruth.
Pictures will come soon, I didn't have my digital camera at that moment. Give me time to scan the paper ones.

Saku & Coke - sounds like a truly revolting mixture! I'm in Estonia at the moment, but I don't think this is something I'll try... :o)
Mixing coke and beer? Oh la la...aucune chance!!! Nice start to your page on Pärnu!
