We arrived in Lexington, Va about 10:30am on April 1st. We drove up from Virginia Beach on our way home. We went directly to the visitors center on Washington Street only a block from the Stonewall Jackson home.
The ladies in the visitors center were very friendly and helpful. They mapped us out a walking map and told us we could leave our car parked for free while we walked around the historic section of Lexington. |

There are two Lexington VAs on VT. The one where you have your tips is north of Charlottesville. It is the other one that is on I-81 |
