We stopped in Chattanooga at their Zoo on the way home from Atlanta, Georgia.

We had driven down to get the girls (Shari's oldest) and was on our way back when we decided to do some sightseeing.

Welcome to Chattanooga’s hidden jewel, the Chattanooga Zoo at Warner Park! This attraction is drawing more attention with the locals and tourists alike. The Chattanooga Zoo sits on 6 acres in the middle of Warner Park just 2-miles from downtown Chattanooga. It features animals and information from all over the world including Latin America, North America, Africa, and Asia.

The Warner Park Ranch Exhibit invites visitors to directly interact with the ‘ranch’ animals. The Gombe Forest features chimps and the zoo’s newest exhibit “Himalayan Passage” features the red pandas, Zoe and Nigalya, the highly endangered “Bali-Mynahs”, and see Marco Polo’s travels across the Himalayan Mountains into six countries.
