Getting TO/AROUND: We rode the subway alot. It cost $2 one-way , $7 for all day pass unlimited or $21 for an unlimited pass for the month. That might be the better buy depending on how long your staying. The subway maps are located everywhere and so are the entrances. It is a great system. You can also use your pass to ride the buses also.

Getting TO/AROUND: We took the rail from the Newark airport to Penn Station in New York. It cost us $11.50 each one way and it was fairly easy to use. We purchased the tickets from the vending machines and they basically get read in the machines and work the turnstilles. Cheaper than taxi service.

Getting TO/AROUND: We were in Time Square when we saw this thing go by. The first time, I didn't have any film and there were 8 people peddling this sucker...lol Then later, we saw this man moving along Time Square, just peddling away by himself. Looks weird but would be fun to ride. Not sure what it is called.

Alot of transfers but we got an express subway train up so it wasn't as long as we had figured. It was reasonable and easy to use.

Getting TO/AROUND: This is an interior shot of the JFK Terminal 4. This is looking down from the ticketing and baggage area to the food/shopping areas within the airport. This airport is very nice. We liked it much better than the Newark airport.
