Beautiful Bilbao... I loved this little city. There is great shopping and good food. Everyone here was very nice as well. All the streets here were decorated and festive for the holidays. We only had one night and one day here before setting off for San Sebastian. I wish that we had more time here. I hope i get to visit here again.
Also, a new favorite wine that's difficult to get a hold of in the states.. Txakoli. Light and not to dry - very refreshing white wine. |
|  | One Day in Bilbao We arrived late Sunday and only had Monday day in Bilbao. We knew the Guggie wouldn't be open but even all around the Museum .. there was plenty to see. If you only have a Monday to see Bilbao there is more to it than just the Guggie. However, I would recommend wandering around the Guggie outside and admiring the Museum itself as well as the huge sculptures. |
| | I'm not a fan of spiders but this was differnt... this huge spider was outside the guggie tower over the river and everyone around it. |
